Pearce, Minister for Defence, said the total casualties in the Australian army were: Bailed, 26,100; wounded, who have not returned to the front, 36,940; sick, 26,000; missing, 5208; prisoners of war, 1200; unknown casualties, 246. Altogether 366,523 men had enlisted. VICTORIAN PARLIAMENT. NO-CONFIDENCE MOTION. MELBOURNE. July The Victorian Parliament reassembled yesterday.
