COMMITTEES TO INQUIRE.

Committees have been appointed in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland to consider the financial aspects of State control and purchase of the liquor trade in the event of the Government carrying out the proposal as an urgent measure during the period of the war and the period of demobilisation.
