COSSACKS ARREST PRISON-BREAKING ANARCHISTS.
CONSPIRATORS ARMED WITH HARMLESS BOMBS. Australian and N.Z. Cable. (Received 12.45 a.m.) PETROGRAD. July 3 Armed anarchists surrounded the Cresty Prison, and liberated a number of prisoners, including two charged with espionage and another charged with inciting soldiers against their officers. A body of Cossacks surrounded the Bournevo Palace, to which the anarchists had withdrawn. The defenders threw bombs, but they did not explode All the conspirators were arrested except an anarchist, who was found dead inside the building. It is believed the latter committed suicide. The Cossacks did not use arms.
