CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES. The principal of the two senior games in the Auckland Football Association's championship on Saturday resulted in a win for Brotherhood over Wild Eos© by 2 goals to 1. North Shore, playing at Devonport, defeated Eichmond by tho substantial total of 6 goals to 0.

BROTHERHOOD V. WILD ROSE. Brotherhood and Wild Rose met at the Domain. The game began with a series of strong attacks by tho Brotherhood vanguard, the Wild Rose defence being taxed to keep the score down. Tho defence proved sound for some time, but eventually the forcing tactics of Brotherhood prevailed, and Heyes scored. Wild Rose then attacked, but. Brotherhood forced play back, and Heyes again found the net from a difficult position. The spell ended without further incident of note. The second half was noticeable for a better distribution of play, Wild Rose attacking strongly at times. Finally, a penalty kick gave an opportunity of which Lornie availed himself, giving Wild Rose the first goal. Brotherhood vigorously returned to the attack, but Wild Rose gradually reversed matters and tho whistle wont with .play in the Brotherhood area, the score being: Brotherhood J Wild Rose *

NORTH SHORE v. RICHMOND. The result of the North Shore-Richmond game played at Devonport, was seldom in doubt, the home team gaining a decisive victory. Shortly after tho beginning, Dacre opened the team's account. Very shortly following the same player made an opening from which Innes netted a second goal. The spell ended without further score. Ihe opening of the second spell saw North Shore again pressing. For some time. Richmond staved off the attacks, but eventually Perrett got through, and gained a good goal. Further scores came through the agency of Dacre, Innes and Clark, the game ending: North Shore , fj Richmond ° THIRD GRADE. Wild Rose beat Devonport Presbyterian by 3 goals to 2. Y.M.C.A. beat Tabernacle by 8 goals to 0. FOURTH GRADE. Devonport Presbyterian beat Richmond by 7 goals to 0. Northcote beat Everton by 8 goals to 2. FIFTH GRADE. * Devonport Presbyterian beat Wild Rose by 4 goals to 0. Technical College beat Takapuna by 3 goals to 0. SIXTH GRADE. Technical College beat Takapuna by 3 goals to 1.
