AUCKLAND . ASSOCIATION. WINS 'FOR LEADING '. TEAMS. ,'NO CHANGE IN POSITION.;' The result ~' of Saturday's mater in; the Auckland Cricket Association's senior grade championships was to leave ' the leading teams ih'tho same relative positions on the championship lists. Parnell and Ponsonby each secured a three-point -..win, so that .'the former -team'still.' loads by/one point..-Graf-ton secured a two-point decision from Eden. The match- between' Parnell ' and University was notable for a complete collapse of the latter's batsmen, , Parnell on the first day had only made 154. University had lost four'wickets for 21 runs. t Following on this, the students were all dismissed for the small total of 66. In the . second innings they fared even -worse, only compiling 42, so that Parnell could have won without the 101 they put on for two wickets In tho second innings. Ponsonby, with a big score in hand from the previous week, made 242 for nine wickets. . FIRST GRADE. PARNELL V. UNIVERSITY. "With four wickets down for 21 runs, University resumed against Parnell at Eden Park. The remainder of the team did not contribute, very largely to the total.
