REQUISITION OF JUTE.

IMPORTATION PROHIBITED.

The Army Council has requisitioned all unsold stocks of jute in the United Kingdom, and has prohibited imports on private account in order to economise in. It will not interfere with Indian shipments direct to the allies or to neutrals.
