RAILWAYS LEAGUE.
FUTURE OPERATIONS DISCUSSED. A meeting of the new council of the Auckland Railways League was held yesterday, Those present were :Messrs. P. E. Cheal, presiding, F. Clark, T. H. Macky, M. Caughey, F. H. Mueller? J, L. R. Bloomfield, C. J. Hutchinson, H. T. Goldie, and A. Murray Bell. The matter of the leagues future operations was discussed at considerable length, and a sub-committee, consisting of the chairman, Mr.' P. E. Cheal, vice-chair-man, Mr. G. L. Peacocke, and Messrs. T. H. Macky, H. T. Goldie, and M. Caughey, was appointed to consider the position and report at the next monthly meeting, to be held on March 14.
