Mr. Deer is an Australian who went; to America seven years ago, and eventu- i v ally became Mr. Sheldon's second hi '- rcommand at his institution, and he is now 'J'.i pioneering its system in Australia. His address last night was directed to the pur-. ~ pose of showing how Sheldon's philosophy -V provides for the development of the faculties of mind and body in such manner as to ensure their application to the best advantage in business life. The membership ; of the Sheldon study circles in England, Canada, South Africa, the United States,';'; > and Australasia had, Mv. Deer remarked, a total of 80,000 people, and strong circles had lately been formed in the southern parts of New Zealand
