In the Supreme Court to-day the following prisoners were sentenced :—Elsie Heann, opening postal packe's, to come up for sentence when called on ; Walter William Gabbitt, attempted rape, two years' imprisonment; Clement Borrows, theft of motor-cycle, to come up for sentence when called on, provider he enlists; Alexander Charles Mitchell, theft from postal packets, committed to the charge of the Salvation Army Prison Bngaue for 18 months James Alfred Smith, found girilty of uttering a valueless cheque, was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment.
