FIGURES FOR OCTOBER.
DUTIES SHOW INCREASE.
TOTALS FOR TEX MONTHS.
The net Customs duties collected at the Port of Auckland during the month of October last totalled £88.775, as compared with £66.457 for the corresponding period of last year, an increase of £22.318. The beer duties in the month just closed amounted to £2911, as against £2039 in October, 1915, an increase of £872.
The value of the gold exported Jast month was £16,561, as compared with £15,948 for the corresponding period of 1915, a decrease of £159,387. Silver to the value of £3791 was exported last month, as against £0370 in October, 1915, a decrease of £°'?79.
