AUCKLAND PRICE OF COAL.

STATE MINE IN THE NORTH. SUGGESTION BY MR. POOLE. [by telegraph.—special correspondent.] Weliinutox, Wednesday. In* the course of the discussion on the Mines Estimates to-night, Mr. C. H. Poole referred to the recent report of the Board of Trade concerning the price of coal in Auckland. It was indicated, he said, that this price was unnecessarily high, especially in regard to small lots.
