MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. j A meeting of the Management Committee' of the Auckland itugby L>eagne was held on Wednesday evening. Mr. 'a. Benson presided, and there were also present: Messrs. J. Endean. K. Pollock, C. Baker, A. W. Tattoo, I. Fellows, T. Fielding, and R. A. Spinley, secretary. Tho Richmond Borers Club intimated that a. ground had been procured at Surrey Hills, and tha committee decided to take it over. Tho City Rovers Club requested the presentation of .the. present standing trophies at the end of the season so as. to ensure the continuity of the record, and as on inducement to junior players. The league decided that no trophies would be given, but it was pointed out that there was reason to believe that a set ;«f. caps would be available for each grade. ' The Grafton Club i intimated that it had granted the transfer of G. Ilea and A. Ilea to Newton B*ngera. The junior advisory board reported that R. Parker, ordered off for the 1915 season, came before -them for reconsideration of his case, and in view of penalties also imposed it was decided to allow him to play. Macky, of North Shore, applied for the removal of * disqualification, and the case has been deferred subject to his bringing proof of •nlistment. y The transfer of T. Riley (Hanukan to Newton) was granted, subject to the applicant playing for a higher grade, while that of Headland (from Manokau to City) "is been approved. The report was adopted. The Grafton Club wrote withdrawing the third and ..fourth grade from the competition, owing to recant enlistments. The Northcoto Ramblers' Club wrote entering two junior teams and the applications were endorsed. Offers of donations of sets of caps for the fourth, fifth and sixth grades were received from supporters of the league. The secretary was instructed to extend a. general invitation to returned soldiers wearing their badges to attend the matches and use the stand. jARRANGEMENTS FOB TO-MORROW.
