TAKAPUNA AFFAIRS.
The Takapuna Borough Council met last night. There were present: The Mayor, Mr. W. Blomfield, Messrs. T. R. Arthur, R. S. Thompson, R. S. H. Diss, E. E. Grimwade, T. Hanna, W. Lisk, J. Collins, B. Cronin, and Dr. F. W. Fullerton. The council decided to make a tour of inspection of tho borough on Thursday next. It was decided to draw the attention of the Tramway Company to the noise made by one of the engines on the company's, service. May 13 was fixed as the date for the opening of the council's new chambers.
