.+. , ,- CONCLUSION OF CONFERENCE. The annual conference of the New Zealand District Hibernian Society was concluded yesterday at the Hibernian Hall, It was decided to request the various Dominion branches to double their subscriptions to the guarantee fund during the period of tho war, to enable tho district executive to reinsure members of the society in the forces. Tho following officers for the ensuing six months were elected :—President, the Very Kev. Chancellor Holbrook; vicepresident, Bro. G. Higgins; district' secretary, Bro. W. Kane; district treasurer, Bro. M. J. S'leahan; district auditors, Bro. F. J. O'Meara and Bro. J. B. R. Stead. The new president, Chancellor Holbrook, said that if possible he would visit Melbourne next month to attend tho biennial conference of delegates from tho different districts in Australasia.
