LOCAL BODY ELECTIONS.
• ♦ EPSOM AND ONE-TREE HILL. NO POLLS REQUIRED, Nominations closed yesterday in connection with tho Epsom and One-treo Hill Road Board elections. In each case the nominations did not exceed tho number of members required, and elections will therefore not be necessary. The newly-elected members of the Epsom Board are:—W. Edgerley, H. Frost, C. E- Hemus, T. Tyne, and H. E. Yaile. Mr. Frost is the. only member of the retiring board who sought re-election. The new One-tree. Hill Board will be constituted as formerly, with the exception that Mr. J. Dykes takes the place of Mr. G. W. Hutchinson. The members of the board aro as follows:—H. B. Dobbie, J. Dykes, R. B. Macduff, C. F. Mark, H. B. Morton, T. J. Rowe, and C. L. Slyfield. The following candidates have accepted nomination for election on the Manurcwa Road Board: -William Brown, Charles Coxhead, Godfrey Druce, Alexander Muir, William Perry, and Percy Roy. Six nominations have heen received for election on the Tamaki West Road Board. I'hev are as follows:— Brown, John Clark, George Gower, Francis R. Hutchinson, Richard McElwain, Ernest Pilkington. Fourteen candidates are in the field for .he seven seats on the Manurewa Town Board. Thoss nominated are' as follows: — Henry Bull, Hedley V. Burton, Charles Coxhead, George Coxhead, Thomas James 3orin, John H. Edwards, Thomas K. 3ray, Charles H. Lupton, George E. Mar;etts, Eno S. Pegler, Herbert Rolls, George Smith, Frederick E. White, ?rancis W. Wood.
