TWO CASES FROM COUNTRY.
DEATHS NOW TOTAL 48,
Two fresh cases of infantile paralysis wero reported from the country districts yesterday. No cases were reported from tho city or suburbs. Tho notifications now total 475, of which 299 cases were from country areas, 'and 176 cases from urban ?xeas. Corrected figures show that the des.ths from the disease have totalled

Another case of. infantile paralysis, that of a, boy aged four, was reported at Timaru on Wednesday. This, says the Press Association, makes 12 cases in the borough.
