SUCCESS OF ITALIAN OFFENSIVE IN THE TRENTINO.
SOME PROGRESS MADE IN THE LEDRO VALLEY HEIGHTS
ENEMY DRIVEN FROM POSITIONS BY INFANTRY ATTACK.
(Received April 13, 10.15 p.m.) Rome, April 13. A communique states "By a methodical offensive we have extended our ground on the heights northwards of lliopogalo, in the Ledro Valley.
" Our infantry stormed strong entrenchments and redoubts along the southern slopes of Mount. Pari and the peak of Oro, and on the rocks of Mount Perone. The enemy sustained heavy losses, and retired."
Lake Ledro lies only a short distance west of the northern portion of Lake Garda, in the Trcntino district. Pari, Oro, aad Perone are peaks of the heights overlooking tho valley.
