HORRORS OF WITTENBURG.
JUSTICE YOUNGER'S REPORT
CIRCULATION TO NEUTRALS.
SHOCKING REVELATION. (Received April 11. 6.15 p.m.)
London, April 10.
A statement was made in the House of Commons by Lord Robert Cecil, Secretary for the Foreign Office, that he had arranged to bring Sir Robert Younger' valuable report on the treatment of British prisoners of war in the German camp at, Wittenburg, under the notice of neutral nations. Lord Cecil added. " I shall be glad to take the utmost steps to acquaint the civilised world with this shocking revelation of German cowardice and brntahij. (Cheers). The Evening News says the horrors of Wittenburg are possible by that combination of huckstering treachery and intrigue which is called German trade. That vile machine must not continue in the Empire. Those who traffic and deal with it will lay up a heritage of woe for their children's children.
