MR- WRAY PALLISER'S HEALTH
THIRTY YEARS SERVICE.

London, April 10. The resignation is announced of Mr. T. Wray Palliser, secretary to the High Com. missioner for New Zealand. He has been on sick leave tor months and has been living in Cornwall. His d- .tors have advised him not to return to official duties,
In his early life Mr. Palliser was an officer in the Audit Department in New Zealand. About 30 Tears ago he vas tent to London to act as audit officer in the Agent-General's office. He continued to represent the Audit Department when the title of New Zealand'» chief representative in London was altered to that of High Commissioner. During Sir William HallJones's term of office in that capnity, Mr. Walter Kennaway, then secretary to the High Commissioner, retired from the service, and Mr. Palliser was , emoted to the vacant office, which he has held up to the present The last list of New Zealand honours included Mr. Pallor's name, the Order of C.M.G. being conferred on him.
