The Hon. A. M. Myers, Minister for Customs and Munitions, will arrive in Auckland from\ Wellington this afternoon by the Main Trunk express. The Minister will return to Wellington early next week.

Mr. G. T. Sampson, who has been for some years accountant to Captain Neville Newcomb, has enlisted in the Tunnellers' Corps. Captain Newcomb. in bidding Mr. Sampson farewell, presented him with a wristlet watch.

Mr. A. Harris, M.P. for Waiteroata, who has en'isted for active service, as a wireless operator at Samoa, and who met with an accident at Narrow Neck camp last Tuesday, is making favourable progress towards convalescence. He has been granted leave of absence from camp for a month.
