HELP FOR SOLDIERS.
DONATIONS TO THE FUND. SUM OF £455 YESTERDAY. TOTAL OF £343,393 RECEIVED. Further contributions, amounting to £455 19s lOd, were made yesterday to the fund for sick and wounded soldiers and their dependants. Of this amount £452 16s lOd was subscribed to the Mayor's Fund and £3 3s was added to the Herald Fund. The position of the fund to-day is approximately as follows: £ s. d.
