DRINK OF CARBOLIC ACID.
MISTAKEN FOR BEER
A man named William Richardson, aged 45, was admitted to the hospital last night, having taken carbolic acid. According to the man's statement he lives in Hoffman's Buildings. Upper Queen Street, and he. took the carbolic acid from a shelf in mistake for a bottle of beer. Richardson, who is a printer by occupation, was conveyed to the hospital on the advice of Dr. Horsley.
