IMPERIAL MEAT SUPPLY.
SURPLUS ON MARKET. 70,000 TONS SOLD. (Received December 11, 1 a.m.) London, December 10. In the House of Commons, Mr. Walter Runciman, President of the Board of Trade, said the Government began to market the surplus imported meat at the end of May, and thus disposed of 70,000 tons, mostly mutton and lambi by the end of October.
