RUSSIAN STORY OF INTRIGUE IN PERSIA.
SWEDISH OFFICERS ACCUSED OF CONSPIRACY. ATTEMPT TO SECURE TEHERAN ARSENAL. (Received December 10, 7 pjn.) London, December 9. Russian reports of the intrigues in Persia accuse Swedish officers of conspiracy with the Germans. They nearly cajoled the Shah to leave Teheran. The Germans erected a large munition factory. Eighty eight gendarmerie were collected at Hamadan, and large supplies of munitions, and 250 Austrians were sent to Ispahan. Turco-German agitators penetrated to Afghanistan and India, calling Moslems to a holy war. The Swedish and German conspirators tried to secure control of the Teheran arsenal, containing stocks of Russian munitions, but this wis nipped in the bud.
