INDIAN'S LOYALTY.

IMPERIAL CONFERENCES.

OPINION IN CANADA.

'Ileoeivied September 28. 11.30 p.m.)

Ottawa, September 28.

Canadian newspapers are unanimously favourable to India's representation at future Imperial Conferences.

The Free Press declares that India has earned this concession, even more by her conduct in time of peace than by her loyalty in time of war. The Montreal Star considers the Dominions should take particular pains to assure the Imperial Government of their great pleasure if India was granted representation. Viscount Hardinge need not fear that the overseas attitude towards Indian immigration will cause the Dominions to hesitate for one moment.
