WATCHMAN.

£391 FROM 29 TONS.

A total of 29 tons 17cwt of concentrates from the Watchman mine, Thames, has been treated by the Sulphide Corporation, Ltd., Cockle Creek, for a yield of £391 14s 7d. The net value of the return, after the deduction of shipping and other charges, is £330 Is Id.

ROSS GOLDFIELDS.

£200 FROM 773 TRUCKS.

The return from the superintendent of the Ross Goldfields has been telegraphed as follows :—" 50oz 9dwt from 773 trucks." The value of the return is about £200. WAIHI. The reef increased in width to 18in, and a few pounds of picked stone were secured. Some picked stone was produced from the Cuirassier reef. MONOWAI. The east crosscut at the Monowai mine, Waiomo, was advanced from 12ft to 18ft last week. Quartz was still showing in the face.
