PROPOSED ALLIED LOAN IN AMERICA.
ENDORSEMENT OF BRITAIN, FRANCE, AND RUSSIA.
BANKERS MEET LORD READING'S COMMISSION.

London, September 11.
An Anglo-French commission to settle the exchange problem has arrived at New York. The commission consists of Lord Reading (Sir Rufiis Isaacs), Lord Chief Justice of England; Sir Edward H. Holden, chairman of the London City,and Midland Bank ; Sir Henry Babihgton Smith, president of the National Bank of Turkey; and Mr- B. Blackett. The French representatives are M. Octabe Homberg and Ernest Mallet.
The Daily Telegraph's correspondent at New York says Mr. Morgan invited prominent financiers, including bank and trust presidents, to a three hours' conference with Lord Reading's commission, to discuss a loan in the United States. The bankers approved of tentative plans for a 500,000,000 dollars credit (over £100,000,000), endorsed by Britain, France, and Russia, at 5 per cent, interest, partly secured by American bonds and stocks.
