RUSSIAN RESISTANCE IN VOLHYNIA AND GALICIA.
GREAT ANXIETY CAUSED IN BERLIN. MAY PREVENT ASSISTANCE TO TURKS. London, September 9. . The Russian resistance in the government of Volhynia (north of Galicia) and in East Galicia is causing great anxiety in Berlin, the authorities fearing that they will be unable to give the Turks assistance in time. German officers' brutality in Poland, and the contempt they affect for the national language and customs are causing grave discontent among the inhabitants who have not fled.
