The German Third Guards Division and 48th Reserves Mi. Division, reinforced by an Austrian brigade, and a great quantity of heavy and light artillery, had prepared for a decisive attack for several ipjX days. The attack was fixed for Tuesday night, but, forestalling the ffi ■ - enemy, we took the offensive. After a stubborn fight on the River Doljonka, the Germans were completely defeated.
