HOURS OF HOTELS.
WEST AUSTRALIAN BILL. SEVEN O'CLOCK CLOSING. Perth, September 10. The Assembly of West Australia has passed the Hotel Closing Referendum Bill through its Committee stages after rejecting a proposal to close the Parliamentary bar- When it was objected that it was possible that closing the hotels at seven o'clock would penalise a man taking wine or beer with his dinner, Mr. Scaddan, the Premier, remarked " Make them drink tea."
