CONDEMNED BY MINERS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christchtjrch, Friday. The Coal Miners' Conference carried a resolution protesting against the National Registration Bill, considering questions in clause 4 impertinent. The conference submits that the Bill is a form of conscription, and an insidious effort to strike at the liberty of the people. It further declares the "Bill will interfere with the sanctity of the home, and permits discrimination
