LIST OF CASUALTIES. OVER EIGHTEEN THOUSAND. Received September 9. 7.20 p.m.) Sydney, September 9. The Australian war casualties to date total 18,345, made up as follows:—Dead, 259 officers and 3474 men ; wounded, 559 officers and 12,402 men ; missing, 44 officers and 1607 men. A son of Mr. J. McGowen, exPremier of New South Wales, is amongst the killed.
