DEATH OF A GERMAN.
OFFICIALLY A SUICIDE. (Received July 7. 2.:j0 a m.) Athens, Julv 6. The official version of the 'death of von Leipzig is that he committed suicide. A message sent from Amsterdam on Jul 2 said :—lt is announced in Berlin that General von Leipzig was killed at I Bunfculpeii thrush a revolver exploding while he was dining. The general i,n pmasion is that General von Leipzig wa, murdered His death is a great loss to German influence in Turkey, where he was extremely popular.
