NEW ORGANISATION" FORMED.

A scheme, set forth definitely about five years ago, to establish a federation of farmers' cooperative associations in New Zealand was brought into operation in Christchurch yesterday, when a conference of delegates adopted articles of association of the Farmers' Co-operative Wholesale Federation, Limited. Provisional directors of the company were appointed, and an agreement was made as to the line which the first work of the concern should follow. The new company will have an authorised capital of £100,000. Its object is to bring into closer touch the fairly large number of farmers' co-operative concerns nowoperating in New Zealand.
