ORGANISER APPOINTED. London, June 20. Mr. Lloyd George has appointed Mr. D. A. Thomas, the Welsh coal mineowner, to go to the United States and Canada to organise munitions contracts.
GERMAN PURCHASES.
GOODS REACHING THE ENEMY London,' June 20. The New York Herald states --.hat German agents are buying 12 per cent, of the ammunition turned out at Hartford, 15 per cent, at Bridgeport, and 10 per cent. x at Waterbury. It is presumed that somehow the purchases are reaching their destination, Jas the agents continue to order. The first shipment was sent to South America, and thence to Holland and Denmark.
