Tho competing teams were, Waihou and Mangaiti. After ,*n interesting match Waihou proved Victorious by 23 points to 8. . 2 MORRINSVTLLE RUGBY UNION. ;" A championship match was played on ■ Saturday between Motumaoho and Kiwitahi. resulting in a win for Motumaoho by 12 ".'points (4 tries! to 0 Tries were obtained by J. Bolter, Richard Hintoti (2), and R. Hintor. 'lor the winning team, none of them b*ins -converted. The frame was of a fairly even description despite the difference in the fcores, Motumaoho showing to better advantage in the backs, and Kiwitahi in tho for""ward division. Tho losing team was greatly • handicapped by the absence of their fivo- ; eighth player, Pint.
