[BT telegraph.—press association.] Wellington*, Sunday. A passenger by the steamer Maitai today was Mr. E. J. Greenstreet, cousin of Captain Greenstreet, of the steamer Remuera, who is returning to New Zealand from Canada after an absence of 22 years. Mr. Greenstreet, who came originally from Christchurch, states that fully 75 per cent, of the people of America "are in favour of going to war upon the allies' side.
