HEAVY PRICE FOR VICTORY.
Times ind Sydney Sun Services. (Heoeivea June 14, 6.10 p.m.) London, June 13. The Times correspondent in the North of France, states that the Germans are exerting their principal efforts against the French at Hebuterne. The French offensive is causing consternation in the German command. A mobile German column has been created to move constantly from point to point to meet the French pressure. The capture of Neuville St. Vaast gives the French possession of a huge network of defensive works which constituted the greatest asset of the Germans in the north of France. The feat was accomplished at tho cost of cruel losses.
