RUSSIANS ATTACKING.
DUEL IN THE AIR.
TWO GERMANS KILLED.
Paris, May 30.
A French aviator, in a duel in the air, shot and killed Lieutenant von Buelow, who, it is believed, was a relative of the ex-Chancellor. The observer in the German, machine was also killed.

OFFENSIVE ALONG BALTIC.
GERMANS IN RETREAT.
NO CHANGE ON THE SAN. (Rewired Ma' 31, 2.5 am.) Istrooral, May 30. An official report states that the Russians dislodged the Germans in tho Kurtoviany and Shavli districts, the enemy retreating in disorder and the Russians actively pursuing them. There is no important . haryo on the San. Some villages in the Trfkhaia district changed hands several times. The enemy prepared attacks by bombarding tho Russian positions with asphyxiating bombs Numerous prisoners from General Mackeisen's army are unanimous in declaring that the enemy's losses have been enormous. The Russians repulsed thuee enemy attacks east of Gussakaw. The enemy fell back to their, first positions suffering heavy losses. The battle between the Dniester Marshes and Dolena was characterised by great violence. Large enemy forces, regardless of losses, marched obstinately to assault the Russiui positions. These attacks were repulsed. Tho Russians have taken the offensive in the left bank of the Svitza ai.J on the whole front to the Lomnitza. Their offensive near Perekhinsky is successfully developing. The Russians took 3200 prisoners here, including 72 officers, and captured the flag of a Hoved (Hungarian) Regiment and several machine guns.
