SALVING THE EMDEN.
NAVY'S FIRST CALL.
Melbourne, May 31.
The Defence Department is inviting tenders for the salving ot the Emden. The tenders provide for the handing over to the navy officials of all war material, money, and confidential documents found aboard. The Government is to hare first claim on the purchase of the salved hull.
