NINE MORE DEATHS, AND NINE WOUNDED.

SIX WELLINGTON INFANTRYMEN KILLED IN ACTION.

The thirty-eighth and thirty-ninth casualty lists, issued by the • Defence Department yesterday, brought the total number of casualties reported in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force to 1550. The two lists record the names of six Wellington infantrymen killed in action, and two privates of the Canterbury Battalion and one of the Wellington Battalion who have died from wounds. Nine more men are reported to have been wounded-

The casualties suffered by the force which have been reported since the beginning of its campaign in Turkey now number 1550. Twenty-five officers and 49 non-commissioned officers and men havo been killed in action, and 10 officers and 95 men have died of wounds, while three men have died of disease, making a total death-roll of 182. Four officers and 29 men are missing. The list of wounded comprises 58 officers and J 277 non-commissioned officers and men. These losses have been shared by the various units as follows :— Officers.
