TARANAKI OIL FIELD.
NEW BORING PLANT. [BY TELEGRAPH.—rRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Friday. A meeting of shareholders in the Conithon Petroleum Company was held to-day, Mr. W. H. P. Barber presiding. It was agreed to ratify and complete the directors' action in disposing of the company's new rotary boring plant to Mr. P. A, HadJey, of Auckland, li is understood that tho plant will be erected on one of the properties comprising the Standard Oil Company, of New Zealand, Ltd. The transaction involves many thousands of pounds, and it is anticipated that it will infuse new life into the development of the Taranaki oil field.
