GERMAN MAP-MAKERS.
AUSTRIA TO DISAPPEAR.
London, April 2.
" Eye-witness" says that captured officers freely acknowledge that Germany started the war, and frankly admit that Austria has failed so badly that she will have to be bled. The Austrian Empire will cease to exist, and the Germans will give some of its territory to Italy, and include the German-speaking portion in the German Empire. The Empire will also take Luxemburg. The Germans will welcome a grandduchy of Poland between themselves and Russia. They will insist on Belgium joining the German Zollverein, and Antwerp becoming an international port. A great Central European federation of the Germanic peoples will be formed, to include Scandinavia.
