The wheat market is quiet and unchanged. - The quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,945,000 J quarters, and for the Continent 4,280,000 quart-erg. Atlantic shipments total 722,000 quarters, and Pacific 38,000 quarters. The total for Europe is 1,685,000 quarters, for the Argentine 791,000 quarters, and for India 10,000 quarters. SUGAR. American: Granulated, 29s 3d. MEATS. North Island : Lamb, 7jjd; selected brands, 7j,d. Reef: Hinds, 6j|d. Australia : Sheep, first quality, sid; lambs, best quality, 7|d; fair, 7d; inferior, 6Jd. South American lamb, 7id. Beef: Argentine, chilled, 6|d; hituij), 7jjd. Other meats are unchanged. SILVER. Silver is quoted at 23 9-16 d.
