ALLIES ATTACK SUBMARINES FROM THE AIR.
RAID ON HOBOKEN SUCCESSFULLY REPEATED. BOMBS DROPPED ON CRAFT LYING OFF ZEEBRUGGE. Wellington, April 2. The Premier has received the following cable from the High Commissioned, dated London, April 1, 10 p.m. :—" An airman to-day carried out a successful air attack on German submarines being constructed at Hoboken, near Antwerp, dropping four bombs. " A second airman, whilst reconnoitring over Zeebrugge, observed two submarines lying alongside the mole. He attacked them, dropping four bombs, with successful results. Both airmen returned safely."
