AIRMAN'S ROMANCE.
BELGIAN LOVE STORY. A romance of the war culminated at Farnham in the marriage of M. F. Van Droogenbroeck and Mile. Maas. On the outbreak of the war M. Droogenbroeck, who was an engineer, joined the Belgian Flying Corps, and for the invention " of an air bomb was complimented bv his King. Whilst flying at Nieuport lie fell 200 ft, and was seriously injured. In the meantime his fiancee had tied from Antwerp, and for a long time her lover failed to find any trace of her. He went to England, and eventually discovered that she was staying at Faiiiham. M. Droogenbroeck. has been invalided out of the Belgian Army and has obtained a situation in London. He had been offered work at the Farnborough aircraft factory.
