DELAYED BY RAIN. [BT TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION'.] Dunedin", Friday. The annual Easter tournament promoted by the Otago Lawn Tennis Association was commenced to-day in wintry conditions, a shower of rain which fell in the morning delayed play for about two hours, but from then onwards, the weather was fine. The entries were good, but were slightly behind those of lust year. The championship resutls were as follows: — Men's Championship Singles.— round: J. S. Sinclair beat W. R. Sinclair, 6—4, 75; McMillan beat Marcussen, 6—4, 6—l; Mitchell beat McDonald, 6—l, I—6, —1. Second round: Bray beat MacLachlan. 62, 6— Ferrena beat Herbert, a—~4, —\. Eollett beat A. Nicolson, 6—3, 6—4: Oxford beat Bolting, 6—3, 6—B, 6—o; Shepparri beat Wood, 6-2, 8-6. Men's Championship Doubles. — first round: Ollivier and Shephard beat Scott aad W. K. Sinclair, 6—o, 6-1.
