A presentation was made on Thursday afternoon to Mr. W. A, Harvey, partner in the firm of Jagger and Harvey, snip chandlers, who is severing hia active association with tho business. In asking Mr Harvey to accept a framed photograph of tho staff, Mr. S. Philpott referred to the cordial relations which had always existed between the employees and the partners! in the firm. In reply, Mr. Harvey said he would always have a voice in the control of the business, and he hoped all the employees would remain with the firm, continuing to give the loyal service they had always rendered. The Devonport Ferry Company announces an attractive list of harbour excursions for Sunday and Monday.
