BUSINESS DONE YESTERDAY. The sharemarket was very quiet yesterday. In standard stocks, New Zealand Insurances were available at £6 3s, buyers being prepared to give £6 Is. Sellers of South British Insurances asked 975. A sale of Wilsons Portland Cement (ord.) was reported at 22s 3d. Waihi mining shares were looked for at 445, sellm asking 455.
