[BT TELEGRAPH — riIKSS A?<W. ATTOV.] Wellington, TutSOiT. As the result of the recent negotiations, the Government has decided to guarantee the cost of the Hutt Road maintenance. The Wellington City Council is to undertake the work, and collect the proportionate shares of the cost la:or from the iv spective local bodies interested. The road is getting into had order, and repairs are urgently necessary before winter comes.
